Born in Malaga, Spain to an English father & Filipina mother, he has grown into a travelled and culturally influenced individual. His musical career started before birth with getting vocal training from his mother whilst in the womb. Yvette (mother) is a singer/performer who has performed in function bands in East Asia at a similar age, his father Jon an avid guitarist who always liked performing, he would entertain passengers on cruise ships post-dinner service and when given the chance always took it in his stride.

His parents being a huge contribution to his performance and love for music, at age 4, Johnny received the chance to perform to a planned function of over 100 people to sing Eternal Flame by Bangles. The nature to perform is his heart and runs through his veins.
